Week 8 - The theme of the week
Dernière mise à jour : 12 mai 2020
Empathy
Deadline to send in your creation: Wednesday, May 13 at noon (EDT).
We all need a little empathy at this stage of the current health crisis and confinement. We also wanted to address empathy this week in order to pay tribute to the work of the artist Adad Hannah, who very frequently involves people from different communities in his projects. In fact, Adad Hannah has allowed us to present on this platform a selection of his recent series titled Social Distancing Portraits.
👉 For the eighth week of Quarantined Museum, we spark your inspiration by inviting you to think about empathy. How does art raise your awareness of other people’s reality? Does art have the capacity to change our point of view, broaden your horizons? Can it help us understand experiences of people who are different from us, and thus lead to develop more empathy?
